Simply put, our mission is to follow the calling God has placed on our hearts — to create a way for people to give a truly anonymous monetary gift to someone they personally know.

Our Story:
We’re an ordinary, proud-to-be-Christian couple living in Middle Tennessee. As a veteran, I unexpectedly received a back-paid disability check — an incredible blessing we hadn’t anticipated. My wife and I considered several ways to use it: helping a neighbor with much-needed home repairs and assisting a friend who lived farther away.

While we wished to give, we also wanted to do so discreetly to avoid creating any sense of obligation or compromising anyone’s dignity. Some individuals are hesitant to accept help from those they know, and we also wanted to prevent any expectation of future financial support. The gift needed to be clearly free of strings, free of pressure, and free of recognition.

However, after extensive research, we discovered that no existing platform allowed for secure, easy, and truly anonymous monetary giving to people you already know. On every donation or crowdfunding site we explored, the recipient could still find out who sent the money — even if the word “anonymous” appeared on the screen.

Out of this need, Blessings In Disguise, LLC was born. Our hope is that this platform becomes a blessing to both giver and recipient, preserving dignity, protecting privacy, and making generosity simple.
